How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you. Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them, whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, "This is the way; walk in it." Isaiah 30: 19-21
God has a perfect plan for each life. The problem is, each life is not willing to be fitted for that perfect plan. But it is in that perfect plan where we experience real joy in our lives; in the center of His will is perfect peace. It's never too late to turn to Him for guidance and direction. He is more than capable of untangling any mess that we have created on our own. He transforms us and changes the attitudes and habits that we have grown so comfortable with. For most, the path of least resistance seems sufficient, but the easy way is not always the best way.
Just like traveling through a maze; without clear directions it is easy to find yourself lost or trapped at a dead end. Following God's will for our lives helps us to avoid those wrong turns that lead to destruction.
Thank You for Your grace, which allowed me to be found when I was lost. I trust Your perfect plan for my life. Make my heart willing to do what You ask, and follow Your will and not my own. I trust my life to You, Help me out of the maze and put my feet on the straight path. Amen.
